Delete a project

Delete a project and restore it within 30 days.

Delete a project

Only a project’s owner can delete it. Open the project’s Settings, go to Delete project, and type the project’s address to confirm. The project disappears for everyone right away, and it stops counting against your storage.

Restore a deleted project

For 30 days, you can bring it back from Account, under Deleted projects. Everything returns as it was: releases, branches, members, and settings. While it’s deleted, its address stays reserved, so nobody can take it.

What’s kept and what isn’t

After 30 days the project is permanently deleted, with all its releases, branches, and history. Files no other project uses are removed from storage. This can’t be undone. Forks other people made are separate projects, so they stay.
